GREA5E THE TRIBUTE SHOW 2008 – SYNOPSIS
A
live singing four person cast (two male, two female) work through
the most popular songs from grease (Beauty
School Drop Out, Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted, You’re the One
That I Want etc) in fully themed costumes that complement the
film and the various stage versions of the musical you love.
Striking a balance between warming the audience and delivering their
expectations; Grea5e the Tribute Show uses a mixture of mime,
contemporary dance and physical theatre to set up a series of
scenarios that fit with the songs delivered. From the dreamy
Beauty School Drop Out
sequence, through the transformation of “Squares” into “T Birds”,
and on to the dancing and audience participation in
Born to Hand Jive, the
cast will take you on a high energy tongue in cheek journey through
Grease and the music of the Rock n Roll era.
Where-as
Grease is a fantastic resource to draw inspiration from, some of the
songs in the film and stage play are not too well known, so we use
the familiarity of other similar Rock n Roll material that is well
known to assist in making the audience feel at home. So come and
join us!!!

The
show runs at one hour plus some encores but if you require a fuller
night’s entertainment, why not let us bolt on (for a fraction of the
